Mechanical Technician

Veolia - Ecological Transformation

Internal Interfaces:

• Plant day to day maintenance, planning, cost saving, documentation, manpower arrangement;
• Schedule the plant maintenance activities without affecting the client’s operation;
• Liaise with the operation team for planned maintenance activities without affecting plant operation;
• Plant HSE;
• Prepare and submit the documents as per requirement (Daily, monthly and base on the requirement) for those reports;
• Ensure all the Maintenance data (PM schedule, budget) are correctly recorded and updated accordingly in the computerized system.

External Interfaces:

• Liaise with contractors for maintenance activities;
• Communicate with operations and contractors for HSE matters.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Knowledge about those equipment and materials for industrial water/waste water treatment process
• Familiar with equipment PM programmes;
• Familiar with hazardous materials handling
• Microsoft office/Google workspace skills
• Know the good industrial practices on maintenance management/Asset management
• Have a good mindset about mechanical equipment management;
• Must be willing to work in Jurong Island and Tuas South
• Can work under pressure;
• Self-Driven
