Job Description

• Responsible for overall management of contractual and commercial issues for WENTX landfill construction projects;
• Manage the contractual agreements, overseeing the entire contract lifecycle and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions;
• Establish commercial management systems on revenue, cost, cashflow, changes, claims, subcontracting;
• Manage the team, collaborate internally & externally to negotiate contract terms, pricing, and other relevant provisions; 
• Supervise the preparation of pre-qualifications submissions, commercial review of tenders, sub-contract tender and related documentation;
• Develop strategies and implement measures to mitigate risks and protect Company’s interest; 
• Conduct thorough reviews of contracts to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency provide contractual, financial and commercial advice;
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documents, correspondence, and related documentation; 
• Conduct regular contract reviews and audits to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and identify opportunities for the projects; 
• Other ad hoc projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or above in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, preferably with related professional qualifications;

Additional Information

Job Experience/Knowledge:

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience of which 5 years with main contractors in leading commercial role for large scale civil projects;
• Experience in contract administration, claims preparation, with commercial and legal/ arbitration knowledge, familiar with various forms of conditions of contracts, cost control, planning and strategic management.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, legal principles, and contract drafting best practice

Professional skills:

• Experience in NEC4 contracts is advantageous;
• Excellent knowledge on QS practice and contract administration;
• Strong commercial sense, independent working, dynamic thinking;
• Meticulous, committed, self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and able to work independently.

Language skills :

• Excellent command of English.
