Job Description
- Develop, implement and maintain the safety management system
- Work closely and coordinate with various site teams, including Data Center Operation Team, Property Team Security Team, etc. in conducting risk assessments on operational activities
- Work closely and coordinate with Project Team and Implementation Team, in reviewing their risk assessments, required permits and monitoring their work safety, on expansion projects and implementation projects
- Conduct routine safety inspections and monitor EOHS performance (including customers, customers’ vendors, employees, various site teams, project team, implementation team and vendors) for the data center
- Plan and conduct safety trainings and promotions
- Hold routine EOHS meetings with site team / management team
- Report and record all EOHS incidents, and conduct incident investigation and analysis
- Monitor the compliance with all relevant EOHS legislations and prepare relevant reports
- Support customer, internal and external audits on EOHS aspect and ensure all audit findings are properly resolved
- Ensure all required EOHS records are well maintained
- Provide professional advices to management team for decision making regarding EOHS issues
- Attend urgent site meetings, conduct site inspection and handle EOHS issues outside working hours if required
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree / Higher diploma / diploma holder in Occupational Safety and Health / Environmental Management / Safety Management or related discipline
- Registered Safety Officer under Labour Department is a must
- Registered Safety Auditor is an advantage
Additional Information
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ post-registration EOHS working experience in Facility Management / Construction industry. Preferably in E&M related projects. Experience in Data Center is an advantage
- Good knowledge in local safety & health regulations
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- First-aid & AED certificate holder is an advantage
- Proactive with strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills, problem solving mind-set and ability to write reports
- Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English
- Good knowledge of computer application in Microsoft Office, English & Chinese word processing
