Job Description
Chemfeed Engineer
Salary £40-55k dependent on experience.
The role is home based with travel to client sites- Covering the North West and East (excluding Yorkshire, Leeds and Humber)

Here’s what your week might look like:
Work on projects often requiring independent decision making.
Scope chemical monitoring and dosing equipment installation for new build and replacement opportunities.
Participate in customer site visits to design chemical dosing solutions while assessing the product, pressure and flow requirements.
Work with account managers and customers to identify technical solutions for their site, always being aware of commercially acceptable methods
Support commissioning activities and/or implementation of systems at customer locations
Manage customer satisfaction levels and escalate any customer concerns
Manage multiple projects in varying levels of execution and project value
Review Chemfeed Qualifier (CFQ) and innovation template for technical information for desired outcome from proposal
Review desired water treatment programmes with the Account Manager.
Use previous engineering reviews/work scopes and clarify with Chemfeed lead and/or Account Manager
Produce working drawings/sketches to describe proposed solutions
Determine material requirement and request quotes for items not on Standard SAP list
Support Account Manager with enquiries and the final sell of the project
Validate Order Scope – comparing to original proposal scope
Obtain valid offers from suppliers for out of date quotes
Send quotes, costing sheet, customer PI & requisition to customer services
Attend Kick-off meetings, validating project plans
Attend Weekly Area Calls and report on Chemfeed projects and quotation progress
Maintain quarterly area revenue forecast, in conjunction with the YLHB area manager and account managers
Work is conducted at Commercial and Industrial sites around the YLHB, on a regional basis, covering the full spectrum of water treatment assets – from Cooling Towers, Effluent, Reverse Osmosis, Steam Plant and many others.
Qualifications
What are the requirements?
Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience
Working experience as a Chemical feed / Project / Installation Engineer in a similar field
Proven experience running installation projects
Availability to travel for much of the working week within your assigned area,
Valid UK driving licence
AutoCAD skills preferred
MS Project experience or similar Project Management system experience would be useful
