Reliability Manager

The Reliability Manager will be responsible for leading the reliability improvement activities and initiatives at one or more of the identified Veolia strategic sites. The key objective of these sites is to improve safety, reliability and uptime by developing the most cost effective maintenance strategies and leveraging other process reliability improvement tools and techniques. The individual must be a proven leader who can provide vision and leadership to achieve daily, yearly and long-term asset reliability goals through application of Veolia’s Maintenance and Reliability best practices site wide. The individual must have a good working knowledge of maintenance and reliability best practices, with a focus on Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) or any other third generation maintenance strategy development technique. This person must have the organizational capability to work across multiple businesses and be able to communicate well with operators, mechanics, peers and senior leadership. They must be able to lead multiple improvement teams, network with appropriate professional organizations and maintain strong connections to technical organizations.

Coordinates the implementation of maintenance and reliability programs across one of more sites.
Facilitate RCM analyses across multiple simple to very complex systems.
Determine probability of failures and multiple failures, calculating required frequency of functional checks in order to meet tolerable levels of risk.
Understands the role control logic plays in these systems.
Training site personnel and team members in M&R best practices.
Working understanding of predictive technologies, vibration analysis, ultrasonic detection, thermography, PdMA, oil analysis, corrosion detection, Transformer DGA, etc.
Analyzes technology trends, human resource needs and market demands to plan projects.
Confers with senior operations and maintenance managers to determine objectives, KPIs, cost feasibility and other customer demands.
Responsible for identifying and implementing critical spare parts strategies.
Performs equipment criticality analyses.
Facilitates root cause failure analyses.
Conducts and coordinates equipment and infrastructure condition assessments.
Conduct site Asset Management Maturity Assessments.
Mentor and coach junior Maintenance and Reliability team members.
