Job Description

Role Summary
The Assets Logistics Specialist will coordinate and manage the daily operations of asset
returns, documentation processing, and fleet management initiatives. This position will support
the Assets team through efficient coordination of bin returns, carrier management, and
maintenance of accurate asset records while ensuring compliance with shipping procedures.

Essential Functions Statements

• Coordinate and schedule daily bin returns to production facilities working with carriers for
timely pickup and deliveries
• Process and manage all documentation for field returns including Bills of Lading and placards
• Maintain effective communication with sales representatives regarding asset pickups and
returns
• Collaborate with sales team to evaluate and process tank orders for customer sites
• Review and validate tank specifications based on customer process requirements, including:
1. Chemical compatibility
2. Temperature requirements
3. Environmental exposure considerations
4. Safety compliance needs
• Maintain documentation of tank specifications and custom requirements by customer/site
• Coordinate with vendors on custom tank configurations and special orders
• Validate tank sizing and capacity requirements based on customer usage patterns
• Update and maintain customer tank ownership records in SAP system
• Generate and analyze reports on customer tank utilization metrics
• Support tank fleet management and tracking initiatives
• Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all asset movements

Pay range: $26.25-$29.55 USD; $29.02- $33.24 CAD

Qualifications

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience in logistics, supply chain, or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Background in transportation/logistics operations
• Experience with chemical containers or industrial equipment tracking
• Knowledge of shipping documentation and procedures
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in asset management or fleet operations
