Job Description:
The Industrial Market Intern will gain hands-on experience in proposal development, engineering execution, and project management through boiler feed water and clarification applications. This role offers exposure to the full project lifecycle—from proposal phase with Bid and Commercial teams through project delivery with Execution Engineering Teams for our Industrial customers.
Working directly with Application Engineers, Project Managers, and Lead Engineers, you will:
Support proposal preparation and equipment cost estimations
Assist with project setup and planning activities
Develop and maintain project templates and documentation
Prepare progress reports and status updates for project teams
Support project submittals and deliverables
Contribute to engineering and design of projects under guidance of senior engineers
Track engineering progress using industry-standard tools including Master Document Lists (MDL), Master Schedules, and Rolling Action Item Lists (RAIL)
Participate in team activities, meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Currently enrolled in an Engineering or technical degree program
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interface professionally with clients, suppliers, and team members
Self-motivated with ability to take initiative and work independently
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working with minimal supervision on assigned tasks
Preferred Skills:
While on-the-job training will be provided, candidates will benefit from:
Familiarity with Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office
Basic understanding of project management principles
Strong presentation and documentation skills
