Business Development / Sales Manager

We are currently investing in our QLD Service business and recruiting for an energetic and results driven Business Development / Sales Manager. This position is based in Northgate, QLD however the majority of time will be visiting customer offices/sites in the Brisbane and regional Areas.

You will be responsible for:

 

  • Developing new sales with Veolia Standard Plant and Service contracts including key account management responsibilities for some current and future clients with high sales growth potential.
  • Maintain Sales forecasting / allocated budgets via Salesforce opportunities for customers and new customers/market/area to prospect.
  • Drive the account review process, working closely with our Service management team and periodically present how the allocated accounts are travelling, new opportunities, account improvement strategies, financial forecasts, additional account needs, safety & compliance status, etc.
  • Communicate / report at monthly Team business development meetings.
  • Plays an active development role for Sales and marketing strategies for the business in line with regional targets.
  • Preparation of structured and strategic proposals aligned with customer expectations.    
  • Prepare and communicate opportunities to customers demonstrating real measurable results.
  • To establish and maintain relationships with the customer’s designated site contact/s at an executive level to ensure site account security
  • Build the QLD sales pipeline using new and established contacts.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

 

  • Looking to open up new career potential through a large global organistaion.
  • Strong communication skills and highly effective relationship building skills.
  • Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline i.e. Engineering or Science etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Sales processes and demonstrated experienced in value / solution selling.  
  • A background in the Water Treatment Sector (Preferably 5 years but not essential)
  • Ideally experienced in cooling towers / boilers Water treatment or/and waste Water treatment, filtration, RO, and other physical treatment methods.
  • Sales focused: Developed time management skills, well organised, highly motivated professional keen to help the team to grow the business
  • Customer focused: keen to provide high standard support and reporting to the allocated customers
  • Excellent communicator with capability to prepare presentations, proposals, and documentation to a high standard.
