We are now recruiting suitable candidate for O ▪ PARK1, the food waste treatment facility being built for the Environmental Protection Department of Hong Kong Special Administration Region in the Lantau Island.

Job Description

• To oversee and supervise public relation matters at O ▪ PARK1 including the operation of the visitor centre;
• To assist in handling general enquiry and complaint received by Client relating to O ▪ PARK1;
• To assist Client in liaising with stakeholders to promote Waste-Derived Material WDM (e.g. food waste-derived compost) and support district education and programmes on WDM utilization initiatives;
• To assist in managing separate WDM utilization studies conducted by Client (e.g. contractor performance, payment and claims, regular surveillance and reporting, etc.);
• To assist in handling other adhoc office administration and other duties as assigned by Client.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or Master degree in Marketing or a relevant marketing subject from a Hong Kong university or equivalent;
• Have good knowledge in organic compost and good understanding of local organic compost market;
• Possesses at least 3 years of working experience in sales and marketing of organic compost; experience in application of organic compost to government projects will be an advantage;
• Working experience in public relation of waste facilities  is considered a significant asset ;
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator software;
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Input Method;
• Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Cantonese.  Proficient in Putonghua will be an advantage.
