Provide leadership (direction and support) to the Asset Care team and drive growth of the Services Sales in the NEU region, directly to our customers in all industries. The candidate will be responsible to deliver Sales against a specific target for the whole NEU Asset Care team and will work closely with the territorial Services Sales Managers (Asset Care Coordinators) to ensure that operating plan target is met or exceeded.
Role summary/purpose
- Lead the team of Services Sales Managers (ACC) in the region and participate in the development of their skills.
- Set and achieve area sales objectives in consultation with the Services Sales Managers (ACC) and the Regional and Territorial leaders of the assigned geography (NEU)
- Prepare sales forecasts and reports in consultation with the Services Sales Managers (ACC)
- Discuss and agree individual objectives (sales and business development) for each team member
- Guide the Services Sales Managers to develop the existing business by managing the current customer portfolio and proactively identifying potential prospects.
- Align the services portfolio of the different territories within the region to diversify the offerings each territory can provide.
- Instruct the team to use all VWTS products and technologies to creatively solve customer challenges and issues and turn into opportunities. Knowledge of process industry will be key to regional development
- Develop and oversee growth strategies for different markets and segments, in coordination with Regional ES Services Leader and Territory Managers
- Handle client requests and issues as they occur, with problem solving approach and respectful of VWTS guidelines.
- Always maintain a strong focus on safety and compliance, internally and externally.
- Develop and maintain an advanced knowledge of all VWTS products and technologies, according to the role
- Create connection and organize internal strategy with I&T sales team
- Carry out and/or ensure the processing and prioritization of orders when projects are won
- Ensure that project invoicing is compliant across the entire region under their responsibility
Skills & Experience Required/Preferred
The ideal candidate will have:
- Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent through experience
- Fluency in written and spoken English, additional language skills are a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in sales of water treatment applications and products
- Candidate should have a proven sales record and demonstrated to be successful in complex technical and relationship driven business
- Demonstrated skills to energize, motivate and drive multi disciplines teams
- Strong negotiator and able to work with senior industrial leaders, top management and their technical and operational staff
- A high skill, knowledge and experience in selling Veolia VWTS Service offerings
- Flexibility and problem-solving attitude
- High focus on targets and their achievement
- Ability to effectively present ideas and information through spoken and written word
- Ability to work closely with multiple groups in a cross functional / cultural environment
