Job Description
1. Project Management & Coordination:
- Assist the Head of Operations in the overall planning, execution, and delivery of environmental engineering projects (e.g., waste collection logistics, facility upgrades, fleet management infrastructure)
- Attend regular project meetings with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders; prepare minutes and follow up on action items
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and asset inventories
- Liaise with government authorities and external parties to ensure statutory compliance and smooth project execution
2. Site Supervision & Operations Control:
- Supervise site supervisors, front-line staff, and subcontractors to ensure daily operations meet performance pledges and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Coordinate on-site logistics, including material handling, storage, distribution, and fleet deployment
- Monitor site progress against the master program; identify potential delays or risks and propose mitigation measures to the management
3. Engineering & Documentation:
- Prepare and manage technical submissions, including method statements, risk assessments, and material specifications
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents, quotations, and cost estimations for variation orders
4. Quality, Safety & Environmental Management:
- Ensure all site activities comply with the company’s ISO standards (Quality, Environmental, and OHS) and local safety regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and rectify non-compliance issues immediately
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering
- Holder of a valid Green Card
- Driving license (Class 1 or 2) is an advantage but not mandatory
Additional Information
Requirements
- 4 years of relevant work experience in the engineering, construction, or environmental protection sectors **Candidates with less experience will consider as Assistant Project Engineer
- Experience in government contracts (FEHD/EPD) or waste management logistics is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, Word), Google Workplace, and Chinese Word Processing. Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus
- Self-motivated and independent with excellent time management. Strong interpersonal skills to manage subcontractors and frontline staff effectively
