Operations Manager

Workload Planning

• Assist with weekly workload planning schedules in conjunction with the team supervisor, taking a proactive approach to tasks, in order to efficiently manage own workload
• Implement the workload plan developed by the line manager and carry out the relevant accounting activities in order to ensure adherence to the plan and highlight to the line manager in case of discrepancies

Accounting

• Maintain the assigned subsidiary ledger and timely updating of accounts receivable or payables (as applicable) , including process adjustments and the reconciliation of accounts to ensure necessary records are accurate and in agreement
• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information, and reconcile any financial discrepancies in relation to payments, invoices, or otherwise  in order to document all financial transactions and recommend financial actions

Accounts Payable

• Verify that the transactions for processing are in order to comply with the established policies and procedures
• Receive, register and verify that all invoices   related to Enova’s projects, material and service purchases are cross verified with related Purchase Orders/ Contracts to ensure they are complete, accurate and in compliance with the laid down policies and procedures
• Sort out, match, and process accounts payable cheques, wire transfers and ACH payments, as well as setting up invoices for payments, in order to manage all accounts payable transactions. Such processing should be in compliance with the payment terms and or instructions in this regard as laid down by Finance Manager

Accounts Receivable    

• Issue invoices and credit notes, as deemed necessary, in a timely and accurate manner in order to ensure timely collection of receivables
• Monitor accounts to ensure that invoices are properly managed and ordered and any delayed payments or irregularities is highlighted to the line manager for suitable remedial action
