Quality & Process Improvement Graduate

Location: Bourne End, Buckinghamshire (Hybrid Working)

Required: Degree in Business Management, Engineering, Operations Management, Science/Technology, or Quality Management

About the Role
As a Graduate Quality & Process Improvement professional, you will work alongside experienced teams to drive operational excellence and support quality management initiatives across the organisation. You will analyse data, identify inefficiencies, and contribute to meaningful process improvements that have a real impact on our business performance. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your analytical and problem-solving skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, while gaining exposure to industry-leading quality frameworks and cross-functional collaboration at one of the world's leading ecological transformation companies.

Day-to-Day Duties and Learnings:

  • Support the identification, analysis, and documentation of existing business processes, contributing to the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives
  • Collect and analyse data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, reporting findings through dashboards and presentations for key stakeholders
  • Contribute to the maintenance and development of quality management systems, processes, and customer experience systems
  • Assist in conducting internal audits and quality reviews, supporting root cause analysis and corrective action processes
  • Help develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and compliance across the business
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), tracking progress and supporting compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and drive a culture of continuous improvement
  • Gain exposure to quality management frameworks such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies, as well as process mapping tools and data analysis software

Qualifications

Ideal Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Degree (2:1 or above) in Business Management, Engineering, Operations Management, Science/Technology, or Quality Management (essential)
  • Fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Desirable 

  • Other European languages are useful
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of quality management frameworks (e.g. ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean) 
  • Experience with data analysis tools or process mapping software such as Lucidchart
