Job Description
Job Summary
Finance Specialist- Consolidation is responsible to carry out day to day activities related to reporting and consolidation and carry out assigned task including but not restricted to Appendices submission in reporting tool, fixing edit checks in reporting tool, learn and execute excel macros necessary to load data in reporting tool. He / She will be reporting under Consolidation CoE leader and will carry out necessary task assigned by CoE leader.
Essential Responsibilities
Handling all SAP related activity including remeasurement, elimination, accounting tool e.g. Blackline, Tableau.
Update of mapping between reporting system and SAP source system
Carry out reporting related tasks, ensure documentation of internal control and ensure adherence to documented key controls monthly.
Any new tool implementation for consolidation and reporting
Prepare financial package submissions in the consolidation tool and responsible for mapping COA between source system and consolidation reporting tool and clearing out edict checks in consolidation tool.
Responsible to perform reconciliation between SAP and Reporting tool monthly and drive reduction of walk items under the guidance of CoE leader
This position involves occasional overtime and off-hours work, typically during month-end close.
Experience Required
2-4 years of CA/CMA/ACCA post-qualification experience.
In case of non-CA/CMA/ACCA., 5-10 years.
In depth knowledge of operational accounting, and variance analysis
Experience in completing account reconciliations
Qualifications
Masters in Finance or Accounting or equivalent
Recently qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant / CMA or ACCA will be an added advantage
