Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Millwright is responsible for overseeing/leading the day-to-day maintenance activities performed by both Veolia personnel and contractors. He is responsible for performing maintenance preventive and corrective actions according to Veolia standards.


Main Responsibilities:
• Plan, coordinate, and lead the maintenance team of contractors.
• Complete the most complex and critical preventive maintenance tasks to ensure plant reliability.
• Provide expert advice in troubleshooting and diagnostics of equipment maintenance-related issues.
• Provide training and coaching to the operational team.
• Inspect and complete repairs to ensure they are aligned with specific requirements.
• Ensure the required spare parts inventory is maintained.
• Organise required parts for specific maintenance activities.
• Work in close collaboration with the maintenance coordinator under the direction of the maintenance manager.
• Provide regular advice to the maintenance manager concerning required critical maintenance to ensure all the necessary maintenance is completed in a timely and efficient manner and within budget
constraints.
• Help track and coordinate maintenance spending to ensure the plant meets specific KPIs
• Participate in the Plant Maintenance Management Team as an active member;
• Ensure and maintain a good work climate within his team;

• DEC or DEP in industrial mechanics or relevant experience;
• Possess a valid 433A Millwright, 426a Millwright, certification. It is a strong asset if the candidate is dual-ticketed (309a
electrician or 422A electrician ).
• Minimum five (5) years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience within an industrial setting. It is considered a
strong asset if the experience is from a food & beverage, water treatment, or waste management facility ;
• Proven knowledge of using tools, power tools, and shaft alignment tools.
• Technical knowledge of industrial maintenance in food, beverage, water treatment, or waste management;
• Act safely and professionally and wear appropriate attire including the required personal protective equipment
(PPE).
• Ability to lead and mobilize the work of contractors;
• Interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills;
• Good time management, priority setting, and ability to manage and resolve technical issues quickly;
• Exceptional communication skills;
• Leadership, initiative, and organizational skills;
• Demonstrate a high level of proactivity and hands-on leadership;
• Coaching and staff development skills;
• Ability to lead change while maintaining operational effectiveness; Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously;
• Responsible for updating the CMMS with proper data according to company SOPs.
• Computer skills, particularly excellent proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Google Suite.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time, permanent position at a 24-hour organic processing facility. The candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Please note that hours of operation may change, and the candidate must be available during peak production periods. Additionally, the ability to work under pressure occasionally is essential. The incumbent will spend approximately 80% of their time in the field and 20% in the office.
