Job Description

  • Responsible for working with field service engineers on executing service plans in strategic district accounts. This will involve the completion of agreed upon contractual services in your assigned accounts and providing customers with problem solving support. You will assist field service engineers with start-ups of both new applications in current customers, and in new accounts. You will proactively participate in planning, forecasting and reporting activities required for assigned area and key accounts as required including managing inventory. This position will also require you to build strong relationships with your assigned customer base to generate a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • The Lead Account Manager will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes in his area of responsibilities. In this role the person will utilize his or her experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others.

  • Interface primarily with assigned key customers for all matters concerning Company products and services and total support, ensuring that both customer and Company objectives are met

  • Assume overall responsibility for customer satisfaction.

  • Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely manner on the processing of customer orders, acknowledgements, Purchase Order amendments, and alteration notification.

  • Clearly define and communicate problems as perceived by the customer.

  • Manage the activities of supporting organizations to ensure that technical and business problems are resolved in the balanced interest of Company and the customer.

  • Develop and maintain a customer preference relationship toward Company

  • Monitor special value generating plans and programs and coordinate both internally and externally with the customer.

  • Demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and company objectives. In this role he / she will manage processes that meet business needs across the local team, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

  • Participate in plant visits to observe technical results and performances, and obtain information and analyzes / interpret results, and reports any corrective actions to the customer

  • Outline, present and sell the value of Company products and services that can benefit customer needs.

  • Conduct required training of customer operating personnel to ensure their understanding of the parameters under which the Company treatment program and monitoring equipment operates

  • Build upon internal relationships and develop strong relationships with customers, specifically from mid to high management level with key customers.

  • Ensure profitability of accounts within assigned territory through proper pricing and contract management as well as service time

  • Partner with peers and management to enhance selling techniques and approaches

  • Coordinate relationships and interface with Commercial Operations, Technical/ Marketing,Product management and other functions

  • Lead the preparation, submission, tracking and closing of quotations and proposals.

  •  Develop and implement strategies for key accounts, tenders and strategic deals

  • Participate in the Request for Quotation process through establishing a systematic business scouting program, perform lead-role in the process of preparation, submission, tracking of quotations and proposals and closing of deals, especially for

  • key customers / prospects.

  • Position the Company to achieve quarterly sales order bookings and invoice targets as defined by Company strategy using whatever resources available to achieve this end.

  • Build business relationships at appropriate levels within target customers to ensure that we are appropriately aligned commercially, technically, and operationally to take advantage of all potential revenue generating opportunities.


 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in chemical engineering or applied sciences

  • At least 5 years of working experience in the water treatment industries especially at Refinery &  Petrochemical plant or oil & gas related industry

  • Preferably experienced in Sales Management /Business Development and Operations

  • Strong in oral and written communication skills

  • Possess an own transport (car) and a valid driver’s

  • Licenses and acceptable motor vehicle record.

  • Desired Characteristics  Ability to achieve and deliver strong commercial results and meeting customer KPIs

  • Strong interpersonal and inclusive leadership skills

  • Excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
