- Fully own and run source-to-contract and contract-to-pay processes, including but
not limited to Issue RFQ, coordinate & support technical evaluation, conduct
commercial assessments and commit to purchasing goods and services in accordance
with the set objectives (Project budget, schedule and quality),
- Conduct Purchase Order negotiations (T&C, delivery, scope, price etc.) in liaison with
the Project Managers to facilitate purchasing of major engineered equipment and
services,
- Be accountable for procurement budget & schedule, control price and quality of
goods / services procured, and ensure timely delivery of such goods / services,
- Assess and advise on the commercial risks and opportunities identified during the
procurement process,
- Manage and prepare Procurement Plans, relevant Register and associated
documents for the projects,
- Be accountable for the application of the processes, documentation and monitoring
of Group Procurement processes
- Be part of a multinational procurement organisation with coordination requirements
and support across various international offices
- At least 5 yrs experience in Procurement in a Multinational Company. Exposure
to an engineering, construction, project or heavy manufacturing environment
strongly preferred,
- Demonstrated ability to execute large procurement programs from concept through
implementation with minimal supervision
- Sound commercial acumen accompanied by proven negotiation and inter-personal skills
- Excellent communication skills at all levels within the organization and with external
stakeholders,
- Clear and definitive written and verbal communication skills.
