Job Description
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs preventative checks including but not limited to checking oil, antifreeze, lights, transmission fluid, and tire pressure.
- Properly mounting, dismounting, and installing tires; inflating tires.
- Washes, polishes, and performs other detailing work both interior and exterior.
- Charts, tracks, fuels and parks vehicles accordingly.
- Must drive heavy automotive equipment and operate power equipment, including but not limited to payloader and forklift, and perform towing and recovering services, as needed, with proper training,
- Primarily responsible for cleanliness of Transportation Area (includes shop, parking and fueling areas) including but not limited to removing garbage and cardboard, draining waste oil tanks daily, cleaning floors, and other general maintenance duties.
- Performs other similar or less skilled work, as assigned.
- Assists employees of a higher classification, as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Experience/Background:
- High School Diploma/GED is required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Must have general computer skills.
Required Certification/Licenses/Training:
- Must possess a valid State Vehicle operator's license with CDL Class B Air Brakes with Tanker endorsement or start the process within the first 6 months of starting the role and obtain it within the first year, unless otherwise discussed with Management and the Union.
- Required to obtain Class C UST (Underground Storage Tank).
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs.
- Must have physical ability to crawl under vehicles.

Pay Rate: $43.02 per hour.
