Our preferred Account Manager candidate will have experience crafting and executing both traditional PR and social media programs. We’re looking for a passionate team player with very strong creative, strategic thinking and organizational abilities.
We’re looking for a strategic, creative and analytical thinker who can create cross-channel media strategies for our clients. Ideally, this candidate will have agency experience developing broadly integrated marketing strategies.
Some of the amazing work you’ll do:
- Developing and supporting PR and social media communication deliverables to meet client objectives, including pitching magazines, bloggers, online publications, newspapers, television, radio, etc.
- Drafting and editing media materials including editorial pieces, media advisories, press releases, fact sheets and briefing books. Strong writing skills are required.
- Written and verbal outreach with media contacts; strong relationships with media is required.
- Strategic thinking capabilities to support the development of innovative campaigns; a creative thinker
- Oversee fully integrated communications including influencer, social media and digital programs for existing and new clients
- Demonstrate an expert understanding of how social/digital and online community engagement integrates into a complete communications program
- Client experience in Retail, CPG, B2B, and/or Tech is considered an asset
- Strong client management and leadership skills
- Providing timely feedback to management on progress against goals
- Building and managing project budgets
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Ongoing tracking and knowledge of industry & brand best practices
- Ability to contributing to a positive culture of collaboration, coaching, development and mentoring for junior team members
Our ideal candidate will also possess the following:
- Post-graduate diploma in Public Relations, Corporate Communications or related discipline
- Experience in an agency environment with a focus on media relations and influencer relations is ideal
- B2B, Technology, Consumer and/or Retail communications experience
- Excellent communication skills, dynamic, team player, excellent time management and organizational skills and is detail-oriented
- Strong proficiency in social platforms (Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, etc.…), and base knowledge of effective measurement frameworks for social programs
- Experience managing influencer campaigns from beginning to end which includes identification, vetting, pitching negotiation, contracting, content review/management & amplification
- Strong understanding of nuances with influencer/creator contract & able to effectively negotiate
- Strong relationships with influencers and/or influencer agencies
- Familiarity with paid social/amplification as it relates to influencers/creators
- Experience leveraging an influencer campaign marketing tool is a plus
- An unwavering positive attitude to opportunities and challenges in an ever-changing environment
- Interest in multicultural marketing
- Multiple language skills is essential
- Media relations experience is essential
