Company Description

We are Veolia in Denmark, and we are water technology experts in the world's largest environmental company. As Veolia's water technology experts in the Nordics, we work with water, which is one of Veolia's three core business areas, along with energy and waste. We develop and implement groundbreaking technologies and technical solutions that contribute to the green transition.

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our Sales & Tender team, where you will leverage your technical expertise to create value for our customers within wastewater treatment plants and water utilities in Denmark.

You will be based at our office in Søborg, Aarhus, or Aalborg, where your technical insight and sales capabilities will contribute to further developing our order intake in the Danish water market. This will be achieved through direct customer visits, innovative sales initiatives, and a structured sales approach focused on selected core services.

As our new Sales Manager, you will play a key role as a trusted supplier and strategic sparring partner to your customers. You will understand their technical challenges and be able to present tailored solutions. You will identify new business opportunities and develop both new and existing customer relationships through proactive, consultative sales. You will have direct access to our technical specialists and act as a bridge between sales and technology.

Your key responsibilities and areas of accountability include:

  • Working purposefully with proactive project-based and technology-driven sales to new and existing customers
  • Building and developing relationships and business with key accounts
  • Preparing proposals and participating in tender processes
  • Participating in relevant trade fairs, seminars, networks, and customer events
  • Contributing to the development of strategies for selected customers and markets
  • Supporting the execution of the team’s sales strategy and achievement of sales targets
  • Ensuring internal knowledge sharing and sales reporting

Qualifications

You bring a solid technical background, preferably with knowledge of and experience in water treatment. In addition, you have hands-on experience with proactive sales of technical projects and/or technology solutions. You possess strong commercial acumen, including experience with direct B2B sales and the preparation of commercial proposals. You communicate clearly and professionally—both verbally and in writing—and are fluent in Danish and English.

In addition, we envision that you:

  • Thrive in proactively engaging with and collaborating with customers at all organizational levels
  • Are motivated by ambitious sales targets and the achievement of measurable results
  • Are outgoing, energetic, and skilled at building and developing long-term customer relationships
  • Are a team player who contributes positively to our Danish sales team
  • Work in a structured, results-oriented manner with a strong personal drive
  • Collaborate effectively across geographies and professional disciplines
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and reside in Denmark
